Keeping the Legacy Alive

As the season comes to a close, I would like to take a moment and thank you, our patrons, for your support this year. The incredible responses at the concert hall this season are a testament to our goal of providing first-rate orchestral music, and you play a significant role in making that happen. Thank you.

June 30 marks both the end of our fiscal year and the final year of the Miller Match challenge. This season the Miller Foundation will match with $1 every $2 in new contributions, up to $3 million in new gifts. We are more than halfway to our goal, but to reach it in less than six weeks, your support is critical!

I know you understand the importance of supporting the great treasure we have in the Oregon Symphony. This season alone, we will attract more than 320,000 people to our concerts and serve another 60,000 children and adults through our outstanding education and community programs.

Your gift, as well as its match from the Miller Foundation, support our artistic and community efforts, and help us realize Carlos Kalmar’s dream of touching the heart and soul of every Oregonian.
