Oregon Symphony

Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall

Know Before You Go

Late seating

Please arrive early. The concert hall doors open one hour prior to the concert, except for Classical Concerts, when the doors open about 75 minutes prior to the concert, to allow patrons time to find seats for the pre-concert Concert Conversation. For Kids Concerts, the doors open 45 minutes prior. Latecomers will not be admitted to their seats until after the completion of the first piece.

Age requirements

With the exception of concerts designed for kids and families, Oregon Symphony performances are not recommended for children younger than 7 years of age. All children must be ticketed, with an individual seat purchased for them. Aside from Kids Concerts, no children under the age of 3 will be admitted under any circumstances.

Cell phones and electronic devices

The use of cell phones is limited to the lobby area only, and is prohibited in the seating area at all times. Please remember to turn off your cell phone, as well as all other electronic alarms and devices, before entering the concert hall.

Cameras and recording devices

No photography or recording devices of any kind are permitted.

Please be considerate of concert-goers who may suffer from allergies by not wearing heavy perfumes.

If you need to leave a number where you can be reached in case of an emergency, leave your seat location and the telephone number 503-274-6564. An usher will contact you if you receive a message.
