Salem 2026/27
Beginning in the 2026/27 season, all core Oregon Symphony in Salem performances will take place in the newly rebuilt Rose Auditorium at South Salem High School. We are excited to partner with Salem-Keizer Public Schools to bring our patrons upgraded comfort, parking, sound, and accessibility, while staying true to the music that we all love.
We remain deeply grateful to our friends at Willamette University, who have been gracious hosts to the Oregon Symphony in Salem for many years. We are honored to have been a part of Smith Auditorium’s history, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Willamette University in new and meaningful ways.
No, this change will take effect at the start of the 2026/27 season. Our last subscription performance at Willamette University will be held on May 15, 2026.
Due to this transition, the launch of the 2026/27 Salem season will be later than in years past. We are committed to offering you the same high quality renewal experience beginning March 12, 2026.
In preparation for this venue transition, we encourage all Salem patrons to explore the Rose Auditorium seating chart.
During the subscription renewal period, we will assign seats as comparably as possible to your current seating arrangement in Smith Auditorium. We will then reach out to confirm these seating placements prior to the 2026/27 Salem Season going on sale in March.
No. We are planning on bringing at least seven incredible concerts to Salem in the 2026/27 season!
Rose Auditorium is fully ADA compliant with ramp access, elevators, accessible restrooms, and wheelchair seating with companion seats.
Rose Auditorium
Rose Auditorium is located at South Salem High School, 1910 Church St. SE, Salem, OR 97302. Note that this address is for the main office for SSHS on Church Street SE. You will enter via the dedicated Rose Auditorium entrance located on Howard Street (see map below).
Free parking is available on the South Salem High School campus and in the surrounding neighborhood. The closest lots are located directly east of the auditorium with entrances on Howard Street. The lot labeled Parking #1 is reserved for government-issued ADA parking placard holders only. Parking Lot #2 is available for all guests.
