Here’s how you’ll contribute to our mission:
Brand & Creative Leadership:
Drive the Oregon Symphony’s visual identity with bold, thoughtful design that resonates with audiences and upholds brand integrity.
Oversee all creative content across digital, print, and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency and excellence.
Lead the creative development of campaigns, social media assets, video content, and presentations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy:
Partner with teams across the organization—including Marketing, Development, Artistic Programming, Education, and Community Events—to bring initiatives to life through strategic creative execution.
Help project owners define goals, develop strategies, and determine creative success metrics.
Team & Resource Management:
Supervise and mentor a creative team, managing priorities and workflows to align with strategic goals.
Build and manage a network of freelance and agency partners to support creative needs.
Production & Vendor Oversight:
Oversee all aspects of print production, from concept through delivery, ensuring brand alignment and quality.
Manage relationships with printers and production vendors to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Budget & Operations:
Manage the creative services budget, including vendor costs and asset development.
Partner with the VP of Marketing & Communications on strategic planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
7+ years of experience in graphic design, project management, and team leadership—ideally within an in-house creative team or agency.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset and creative drive.

Key Responsibilities:
• Email and SMS Campaigns: Develop, execute, and optimize email and SMS marketing strategies using Braze to engage patrons, donors, and community members.

Graphic & Motion Designer

Here’s how you’ll contribute to our mission:
Design & Branding:
Create print and digital materials such as brochures, ads, event programs, signage, email campaigns, and web graphics.
Translate brand standards into meaningful designs that resonate with a range of audiences, from longtime patrons to new community members.
Design materials for key events including gala invitations, donor recognition pieces, and on-site signage.
Support select events in person with photography or multimedia setup.
Digital Content & Motion Design:
Develop motion graphics and short-form video content that energizes our digital storytelling.
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to build web and social assets, animated graphics, and video banners.

Qualifications:

2–3 years of graphic design experience (experience in the arts or nonprofit world a plus).

Front Desk & Visitor Experience:

Office Operations & Administration:
Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring an organized, well-equipped, and safe workplace.

Patron Services Representative

Are you a dynamic communicator with a passion for the performing arts and a knack for sales and customer engagement? If so, the Oregon Symphony invites you to apply for the Patron Services Representative position!
As a front-line ambassador for the Oregon Symphony, you’ll play a vital role in generating revenue through outbound sales and fundraising campaigns, all while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This part-time position (20-29 hrs/week) offers a hybrid remote work model and an opportunity to contribute directly to the success of a world-class arts organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to sell subscriptions, single tickets, and memberships, utilizing provided equipment and leads.
- Support sales campaigns and fundraising efforts to meet organizational goals.
- Engage with patrons to provide detailed event information and deliver exceptional service.
- Participate in team operations, including daily meetings and new hire training.
- Assist with ticket office operations during peak periods and attend at least two concerts or ticket office shifts per month.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; 1–2 years of sales experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and sales skills with exceptional communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Tessitura database software (training provided) and Microsoft Outlook.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Status & Work Environment:
This is a hybrid remote position with occasional in-office and concert hall shifts. Call Center Hours are Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM. Minimum weekly hours: 20 (maximum: 29.75), with additional hours available during peak times upon approval.
