Vincent Igusa

Vincent Igusa joined the Oregon Symphony as Assistant Principal/Second Bassoon in September 2022. He received his Bachelor's degree from Rice University, where he studied with Ben Kamins. During his summers, he has been a fellow at the Music Academy of the West and the Tanglewood Music Center. Vincent is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and began playing the bassoon at age ten under the tutelage of Dr. Terry Ewell. Outside of music, Vincent looks forward to exploring the city of Portland.
